I walked on to the basketball team at Boston College and competed in the ACC. Nobody promised me a role. I had to prepare early, stay useful, and earn trust before anyone handed me anything.

That is still how I approach work. It is also why I recognize the instinct in other people quickly.

I am drawn to founders, operators, athletes, and creators who are trying to make something happen: turning careers into companies, attention into businesses, and ideas that do not fit the old playbook into real products and deals.

Those conversations are the reason this site exists. It is a place to follow the people and the work, not to advertise a service.

Ownership, deals, leverage, regulation, technology, and distribution. Those six questions come up again and again across sports, entertainment, gaming, and startups, whatever the industry calls itself that year.

Legal training and operator judgment are how I read those questions. They support the action; they are not the point of it.

At Seton Hall Law I direct the Gaming Law, Compliance & Integrity Bootcamp, an annual program bringing regulators, operators, lawyers, and students into the same room.
